Horse Rescue
KC horse rescue is a self funding trust supported by our horse drawn carriage work, special events throughout the country, our riding school and public donations, thereby helping with the rescue of horses and giving them the very best of care.
With over 30 years of dedicated service to the equine population, hundreds of horses and ponies have passed through our stables after being rescued, taken from situations of appalling neglect and suffering.
Many we still care for at our stables in Herefordshire, others we have placed at loving homes around the country where they can end their days being loved and cared for in safety.
Many would have been put down due to the expense of the treatment and care required to return them to good health.
Even if there is only a slim chance that we can give them the life they deserve, we will do all we can.
Public support as well as the support from our driving horses and riding school makes a huge difference to the horses in our care.
Thousands of pounds are spent every year keeping horses in our care.
Hay, straw and feeds are required all year round.
Each horse undergoes checks by the vet, equine dentist, farrier and chiropractor to establish any problems to be dealt with before rehabilitation can begin.
Donations are hugely appreciated and make a huge difference to the lives of these horses and enables us to give them a good life.
If you would like to re-home one of our rescues or would like to adopt or loan, please give us a call to discuss.

What is the reason behind Jethro's mutilation?
He was found in his paddock the next morning with a
wound that could have killed him.
